The Archer Center brings highly motivated students from across The University of Texas System to our nation’s capital to gain practical experience in federal policymaking through coursework, full-time internships, and professional development.
Archer Fellows focus their academic studies in multiple disciplines but share a unifying interest in policy and public service.
Archer Fellows have developed a professional reputation throughout Washington, D.C., for their dedication, work ethic, and high-quality performance. They are passionate about the world around them and are eager to contribute to your organization.
The Archer Center regularly shares internship opportunities with incoming undergraduate and graduate Archer Fellows. Organizations seeking fall, spring, and summer interns in the Washington, D.C., area are encouraged to contact Associate Director for Professional Development and Employer Relations Sally Lawrence.
Archer Fellowship
Fall and Spring Semesters
The Archer Fellowship program is for undergraduate students from The University of Texas System’s nine academic institutions. Students are competitively selected to participate in the program for one semester during their junior or senior year.
Graduate Archer Fellowship
Summer Term
The Graduate Archer Fellowship program is for graduate students from The University of Texas System’s thirteen academic and health institutions. Students are competitively selected for the program as they pursue their master’s, doctoral, law, or medical degrees.
