Congressman Archer's funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church (6420 Linway Terrace, McLean, Virginia). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the Archer Center to support the continued education of future public servants.

Developing the Next Generation of Leaders

Our Mission: We educate the next generation of leaders for local, state, federal, and international service by offering varied experiential learning programs for undergraduate, graduate, and medical students from The University of Texas System.  

Our Vision: To develop public- and private-sector leaders who understand the federal policymaking process, can solve relevant policy problems, contribute to improved civic engagement and civil society, and elevate the public discourse about policy and politics. 

Pursue a Full-time Internship in our Nation’s Capital We’ll provide one-on-one support

Gain professional experience in an internship of your choosing. Previous Archer Fellows have interned with a wide range of organizations, including the Supreme Court, the U.S. Department of State, offices within the White House and on Capitol Hill, think tanks, and various nonprofit organizations.
