Biography
Alesia Za Gara is a Graduate student at The University of Texas at El Paso, where she is majoring in Communication Studies with a focus on Environmental Communication. She has been involved in multiple school organizations including Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society, NCA, and Golden Key International Honor Society to name a few. In 2009, she spent her summer studying the use of social marketing as a way to promote environmental conservation in Indonesia. Currently, Alesia is a student lecturer and teaches Public Speaking at UTEP in addition to being the Marketing Coordinator for a local Financial Planning Firm in El Paso. While in D.C., Alesia will be the Marketing/Communication intern for The National Parks Foundation.
