Biography
Karen will complete her master’s degree in Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Dallas in August. As part of her degree, she is working on a certification in program evaluation. She has worked with both Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and the Dallas Arboretum on program evaluation projects. This certification merges her love of research with her passion for public interest. Her work experience includes 15 years as an in-house consultant in design of research, with twelve years spent at Frito-Lay. Karen is looking to a career in the federal government as a way for her to serve the public interest.
