Biography
Kasey Klepfer is a first year Masters of Public Affairs candidate at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin. He is from Austin, TX and also received his bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Kasey is interested in education policy, particularly how it relates to poverty. He has interned at KIPP Austin, a public-charter school that provides stellar education for under-represented and economically disadvantaged youth. In addition, Kasey has played blues harmonica for ten years and won MyTexasMusic.com Musician of the Year in 2005. This summer, Kasey will intern at the National School Board Association in the Center for Public Education.
