Biography
Andrés Gallardo is working on his doctorate degree in applied demography at The University of Texas at San Antonio. His research interests focus on understanding the relationship between population dynamics and energy consumption, and the application of said relationship in the areas of public policy. Originally from San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Andrés has been living in Texas for the past eight years. He came to the United States to study his master’s degree in energy and earth resources from The University of Texas at Austin after graduating from ITAM in Mexico City. After graduation, Andrés would like to work in the economic development field.
