Biography
Mary Elbanna is pursuing a master’s degree in public policy at The University of Texas at Dallas. She is currently in the fast-track program and will be graduating with her bachelor’s degree in political Science this May. She spent last spring interning for Texas State Representative Eric Johnson for Texas’ 84th Legislative Session as one of UT Dallas’ first Texas Legislative Interns. It was during this experience that she established her true passion for public service and the legislative process. Her specific policy interests include criminal justice reform and education. She currently remains an intern in the district office of Rep. Johnson and enjoys getting involved with local campaigns, as well as volunteering in her free time.
