Biography
Sylvia Loh is pursuing a five year, fast track program to obtain her master’s degree in biomedical engineering and bachelor’s degree in biology at The University of Texas at Arlington. She is passionate about emerging biotechnology and new medical devices. Sylvia has conducted cancer cell migration research at UT Arlington for two years. Through the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP), she traveled to Taiwan in 2015 to conduct stem cell research. She is interested in working with medical devices and health policy issues and hopes to pursue a career in medical technology, investigating new biomedical research.
