Biography
Amita Kulshreshtha is an M.D./M.P.H. student at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW). She received her bachelor's degree in biochemistry from UT Austin. Her public health interests include mental health, hematology/oncology, pediatrics and women's health. At UTSW she is a manager of the Union Gospel Mission clinics, which serve the Dallas-area homeless population. She wants to work in health policy to increase accessibility to health care. Kulshreshtha has conducted research at the Dallas VA Medical Center and at the Baylor University Medical Center.
