Biography
Andrea Clark Gomez is pursuing a master’s degree in Latin American studies at the Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies at The University of Texas at Austin. Gomez has conducted ethnographic work in Nicaragua and Venezuela on race and ethnicity and women's rights. During her time at UT Austin, Gomez has also led educational programs for undergraduate students focusing on social justice and community-engagement. Gomez plans to pursue a career in human rights advocacy.
