Biography
Disha Sahu is an Urbanist-in-the-making, an architect and a keen city traveler with a sketchpad. Currently, she is pursuing her graduate studies in community and regional planning at The University of Texas at Austin with a focus on integration of transportation and land use. She is interested in making cities vibrant places to produce, consume and nurture life. As an architect, she is also interested in issues of historic conservation, identities of places, learning from vernacular practices and third world Urbanism. In her free time, she likes to travel to cities with her little sketch pad and draw a string of memories with her ink pen.
