Biography
Elizabeth Petruy is pursuing her master’s degree in public affairs with a concentration in nonprofit studies at The University of Texas at Austin LBJ School of Public Affairs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in criminology from The University of Texas at Dallas. Dedicated to public service and civic engagement at a local level, Petruy served as a Community Coordinator for the Dallas arts nonprofit Art Conspiracy and as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in Collin County, Texas. Her policy interests include education, criminal justice reform and the efficacy of public-private partnerships. She hopes to pursue a career in public sector consulting or government affairs within the nonprofit sector.
