Biography

James Coviello is a doctoral student in the Department of Educational Leadership and Foundations at The University of Texas at El Paso. His research focuses on the interaction of leadership, decision-making and policy implementation. Before pursuing his doctorate, Coviello was a classroom teacher for ten years in New York and New Jersey. He moved to El Paso after marrying his wife, an officer in the U.S. Army. He earned his undergraduate degree in music history from Syracuse University and his master’s degree in teaching from St. Peter’s University.
