Biography
Priyanka Gaur is an M.D./M.P.H. student at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She enjoys studying the policymaking institutions that shape health care programs. Gaur believes that progress in our current political and health environment will be achieved through ethical leadership and comprehensive policy research, particularly in the pursuit of economically responsible reform that addresses existing deficiencies in our legal and economic institutions. Upon graduating in May 2020, she hopes to begin a residency program in internal medicine. She imagines a medical career in academia with hopes to practice, educate and continue research in public health.
