Biography
Rachel Neely is pursuing a master’s degree in social work at The University of Texas at Austin, with a concentration in administration and policy practice. She currently works with older adults through her social work internship with Family Eldercare, a nonprofit in Austin. Neely is from Richlands, Virginia, and holds a bachelor’s degree in English from The College of William and Mary. Before beginning her graduate studies, she was a Fellow in the Office of Community Engagement at William & Mary. Neely’s policy interests include housing policy, specifically housing insecurity experienced by older adults.
