Biography
Amanda Macune is pursuing a master's degree in public affairs at The University of Texas at Austin LBJ School of Public Affairs. She holds a bachelor's degree in political science and policy studies with a minor in poverty, justice, and human capabilities from Rice University in Houston, Texas. Macune has taught with Teach for America and has worked with students at the university level. Her policy interests include social policy on a broad scale with a specific interest in education policy.
