Biography
Rachel Kocian is pursuing a master's degree in public health at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health - Austin Regional Campus. She received her bachelor's degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Austin in 2013. Kocian currently works as a RN case manager for adults with intellectual disabilities. With a focus on management, policy and community health, she plans to address the health disparities of mental illnesses and developmental disabilities, particularly in the public education system.
