Biography
Angela Wang is a first-year medical student at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, as well as a concurrent Master of Public Health student at The University of Texas Health Science Center. She obtained her bachelor's degree in human rights and biochemistry from Southern Methodist University. In college, Wang worked extensively as a sexual assault victim advocate with the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center, with which she published educational content for friends and family of sexual assault survivors. Her policy interests include improving health access, women's rights, nutrition education, and humanitarian efforts.
