Biography
Bethany Gutierrez is a graduate student at The University of Texas at San Antonio pursuing her master's degree in social work (MSW) in the College of Public Policy. Gutierrez also holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from UT San Antonio. Previously, she served as an AmeriCorps Volunteer in Service to America (VISTA) helping fight poverty in San Antonio, Texas. Her passion includes using research, analysis, strategy, and the experiences of people to influence policy by producing interventions and solutions that will breed a productive outcome for individuals. She anticipates applying her social work skills to influence policy.
