Biography
Carol Lopez is currently studying to receive her Master of Art in Interdisciplinary Studies in art history with a focus on Latin American art and architecture at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She is minoring in history and anthropology. Lopez holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts from the same institution. She aspires to join the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in the Collection Management Department and continue her studies to become a Museum Art Curator. Lopez also wishes to help improve the relationship between museums and public schools. It is because of an art museum that Lopez is now a graduate student at UT Rio Grande Valley and an Archer Fellow in Washington, D.C.
