Charlotte Gorman is a first-year Master of Global Policy Studies student at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin. Gorman graduated from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland in 2016 with degrees in international relations and modern history. She has previously held internships at the Middle East Institute and the U.S. House of Representatives. Gorman has been studying Arabic since the experience she had living abroad in Rabat, Morocco in 2014. Her studies are focused on U.S. foreign policy and diplomacy with a particular interest in the role of negotiations within conflict resolution. After graduating from the LBJ School, Gorman hopes to become a Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. State Department.
