Biography
Delina Zapata is a doctoral student in the Educational Policy and Planning program at The University of Texas at Austin. Zapata’s personal life and academic experiences as a student and teacher’s aide in Chicago public elementary schools fuel her research interests in Dual Language Programs as an academic intervention for Latino English Language Learners (ELLs). Her career goals are to produce equitable educational research and be at the forefront of education policy making.
