Biography
Joey Gurrentz is a Ph.D. candidate studying materials and inorganic chemistry at The University of Texas at Austin. His research areas include developing new devices for renewable energy generation and improving the efficiencies of established chemical processes. Gurrentz is passionate about science, research about responsible energy resources, and civic engagement. He wants to help lawmakers make informed decisions about public policy problems that require specialized scientific expertise.
