Biography
Tiancheng (Leo) Cao is a first-year doctoral student from the School of Journalism and Media at The University of Texas at Austin. Cao, who obtained master’s degrees in arts and culture (Leiden University) and in media studies (University of Amsterdam), is currently researching the digitization of museum collections in the U.S. and the E.U. His research focuses on the role played by private technology companies and public policy in preserving cultural heritage and digital access for the public.
