Biography
Amanda Wenger is pursuing a Master of Science degree in nursing leadership and administration at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan School of Nursing and currently practices as a critical care nurse at Texas Children's Hospital. Wenger's interests include the effects of climate change on population health, nursing education at both the unit and university level, and the potential of art as a lifesaving health intervention. In addition to her nursing practice, Wenger is a writer and oral storyteller who believes passionately in the intersection between art and science.
