Biography
Cassidy Hosein is a Bronx, New York, native pursuing an Master of Public Affairs at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Hosein graduated from Hunter College with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and psychology. She has worked towards improving the accessibility of healthcare for all in her past positions with Planned Parenthood. She aspires to empower women by encouraging them to pursue leadership roles and improving economic and education opportunities on a global level. Since living in the Rio Grande Valley, Hosein has worked with UT Health for the Area Health Education Center Program, which provides healthcare to people living in the South Texas colonias.
