Biography
Elise Brittain is a Ph.D. student of culture, literacy, and language at The University of Texas at San Antonio. She has a decade of teaching experience across multiple contexts: as an instructor in U.S. intensive English programs, an ELL teacher in an international elementary school, and as an English Language Fellow in Uzbekistan. Brittain currently supports undergraduate teacher candidates' training in ESL methods and linguistics as a university teaching assistant. She also serves on the Texas Language Education Research (TexLER) and TexTESOL II boards. Brittain is interested in U.S.-funded English teaching exchange and teacher training.
