Biography
Maria Valentina Harmjanz is a medical student at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, concurrently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree through the UT Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health. She received a B.S. in biochemistry from The University of Texas at Dallas. Throughout her medical career, Harmjanz will work to deliver quality healthcare to all communities, optimize care for older adults through Age-Friendly Health Systems, and promote health equity. She is passionate about teaching in medicine and engaging community members in advocating for bipartisan climate change solutions through the nonprofit Citizens’ Climate Lobby.
