Biography
Michael “Mike” McGonigle is pursuing a Ph.D. in finance at The University of Texas at El Paso. McGonigle obtained an M.S. in insurance management from Boston University and a B.A. in finance from New Mexico State University. He is currently researching the impact of economic narratives on financial markets. He hopes to use his 14+ years of industry experience and expertise of multiple programming languages to improve financial policy and regulation in order to ensure that financial markets are efficient and fair.
