Biography
Swetha Maddipudi is an M.D./M.P.H. student at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in biomedical engineering with minors in sociology and business. Maddipudi is involved with organized medicine and holds leadership positions within the Texas Medical Association and the American Medical Association. She also enjoys engaging her peers in advocacy work and discussing health policy. As a future obstetrician and gynecologist, Maddipudi intends to be a physician advocate for healthcare equity and reproductive healthcare justice.
