Biography
Zahra Lalee is an M.D. student at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She graduated from Duke University with a B.S. degree in neuroscience. Lalee is passionate about improving healthcare costs and outcomes for underserved populations. At McGovern Medical School, she is involved in organized medicine and administrative medicine. Her involvement has sparked her interest in healthcare policy and healthcare economics. Through her involvement in health policy and health economics research, Lalee aims to reduce the financial burden of healthcare for her future patients and society.
