Biography
Gloria Stout is pursuing a doctoral degree in human development and family sciences at The University of Texas at Austin. Stout earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Virginia. Her research interests broadly focus on understanding how familial and community factors may hinder or facilitate positive adolescent development among Black youth. As an Archer Fellow, she hopes to gain more experience outside of academia, expand her network, and investigate best policy solutions in order to best serve historically oppressed communities.
