Biography
Jae Choi is a medical student at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2021 with dual degrees in neuroscience and English. He previously worked as a research associate at the Johns Hopkins Harriet Lane Clinic, where he evaluated methods for improving health outcomes for racial and gender minority patients in Baltimore living with or at risk of contracting HIV. He has also worked as a manager for a free clinic and as a patient navigator for unhoused individuals during his time in medical school. Choi hopes to leverage his experience as an Archer Fellow to advocate for patients both on an individual basis and through state and federal policymaking.
