Biography
Miriam Tariq is pursuing a doctoral degree in civil engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. She earned her master’s degree in civil engineering from UT Austin and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Louisiana State University. Her research revolves around developing socio-technical solutions to water infrastructure challenges in diverse contexts. Her current projects focus on water infrastructure services in rural Alaska and water reuse in the industrial sector. She hopes to establish a career at the intersection of water infrastructure and public policy.
