Biography
Dr. Shane Reader is completing a postgraduate certificate in health law research and policy surveillance after graduating with a doctoral degree in healthcare management and policy at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He earned a master’s degree in psychology at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. His legal epidemiologic research evaluates policy in terms of health outcomes. Reader taught for the Texas Epidemic Public Health Institute and previously served as president of the Houston Viral Hepatitis Task Force.
