Biography
Lourdes "Kate" Davis is pursuing a doctoral degree in neuroscience at The University of Texas at Austin. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in English from Southwestern University in 2020. Her current research explores how early-life inflammation can impact the appearance of neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism. Davis is interested in using science to advocate for greater resources for autistic individuals on college campuses. She is passionate about using science as a tool for advocacy, especially for marginalized communities.
