Biography
Branch Peyton Swanson is pursuing a doctoral degree in bioethics and health humanities at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). She received a Bachelor of Arts in biology with a minor in medical humanities from Augustana University. Her interdisciplinary research centers on genetics, policy, and equity. As a Graduate Archer Fellow, Swanson hopes to gain insight into policy development and influence equitable genomic technology advancements. Committed to translating ethical considerations into patient-centric policies, Swanson navigates the dynamic landscape of bioethics, aiming to make a lasting impact at the intersection of science and policy.
