Biography
Emily Gurwitz is pursuing a dual degree in medicine and public health at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a concentration in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. Her interests center on improving healthcare access and quality for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that stem from her personal, professional, and volunteer experiences supporting disabled children and young adults and their families.
