The Archer Fellowship Program

The Archer Fellowship Program offers University of Texas System undergraduate students interested in public service a unique opportunity to spend a fall or spring semester in Washington, D.C.

While in the program, Archer Fellows engage in a full-time internship of their choosing, study policy, history, and communications while earning in-residence credit, and live near Capitol Hill, experiencing fellowship and signature events with other passionate and service-minded students from Texas. Along the way, Archer Fellows build lifelong friendships, make professional connections, and establish a strong foundation of skills and real-world experiences that will prepare them for their future careers.

The Archer Fellowship Program is open to students of all majors and academic disciplines.

In addition to receiving credit for the full-time internship, students take classes focused on policy, history, and communications from UT System faculty members.
