Biography
Alex is a Eugene McDermott Scholar and a senior at the University of Texas at Dallas, majoring in Arts & Performance with a focus on film and creative writing. He has been deeply involved with the student media organizations on campus, working as contributor for A Modest Proposal, the student-opinion publication, and as founder and content vice-president of UTD TV, the online TV station of the university. Previous work experience includes interning with the Dallas International Film Festival since 2007 and working for the development department of Sony Pictures Television International in the summer of 2010. With his interests in media and politics, he will work as executive producer of the program Intern Edition at National Public Radio.
