Born in Malawi, Africa and raised in England, Eleanor T. Khonje is a graduating senior at The University of Texas at Arlington majoring in Political Science with a focus in International Studies and a minor in English. Eleanor currently serves as the UT Arlington Homecoming Queen and has been selected Outstanding Student Leader two years in a row. Eleanor is a Leadershape graduate as well as a Clinton Global Initiative University student. Eleanor’s passions include public speaking and advocating on issues related to human rights, including women’s and children’s rights, international development, and Africa consciousness. Eleanor will be interning at the United Nations World Food Program USA and upon graduation, hopes to pursue a Master's Degree in International Relations with a focus on International Development.
