Biography
Karla Cantu is a senior at the University of Texas Pan American. She is majoring in Political Science with a double minor in Leadership Studies and Spanish. During her first year as an undergraduate, Karla studied abroad in Berlin, Germany for a summer and she really enjoyed the unique experience. Karla is actively involved on campus by being a mentor through the Student Leadership Program and as a Senior Ambassador. She also served as the Political Science secretary and is a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society. Karla interned with Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid where she helped provide family law related legal services to indigent individuals throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
