Biography
Lauren Ayers is a liberal arts honors/history senior writing her thesis on Texas cattle and oil industries and pursuing an interdisciplinary certificate in the environment. As a student at the University of Texas at Austin, she has studied the environment in India, and traveled to Europe as a Normandy Scholar. In addition to holding jobs at the Joynes Reading Room and as a research assistant, Lauren has interned with the LBJ School of Public Affairs and Environment Texas. After graduation, she hopes to join the Peace Corps and upon her return, she plans to attend Public Affairs School to study environmental policy. Lauren will intern at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
