Biography
Luis Soberon is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Philosophy and Government. He is pursuing an interdisciplinary certificate in International Studies with a focus on international conflict through the Bridging Disciplines Program. He has been active in University Democrats serving as the Volunteer Coordinator. After spending two and a half weeks in Rwanda during the 2009-2010 winter on a human rights delegation, he has made it his goal to enter law school upon graduation to focus on international human rights and trade law. In D.C. he will be interning at International Crisis Group, an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to preventing and resolving deadly conflict.
