Biography
Mac Hird is a senior at the University of Texas at Dallas majoring in Physics with a minor in Political Science. He is a leader in many different organizations on campus including the Student Ambassadors, which works with the Office of the President to host events for alumni and students, an editor for A Modest Proposal, the student opinion publication, Student Government and the Collegium V honor society. He has also done extensive physics research with the UT Dallas Plasma Application Lab. He hopes to pursue a career as an advisor in science and will be interning this fall with the Association of American Universities.
