Natasha is a senior at the University of Texas at Brownsville, where she is majoring in History. She is a lifetime member of Phi Alpha Theta, an academic honor society for historians, and has served as the Vice-President of her university's chapter. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she has worked on campus as a writing and history tutor and as an archival assistant in the John Hunter Room. Natasha is an active member of her community, volunteering with the United Way to promote “Success by Six” (a campaign that promotes early literacy among children). During her time at the University of Texas at Brownsville, Natasha has developed a passion for both international relations and the history of Latin America. After graduating, Natasha plans to work as a teacher in the Rio Grande Valley before pursuing a master's degree in Latin American Studies. This fall she will be working as a research assistant at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
