A senior at The University of Texas at Austin, Stephane Mead is majoring in Government with a minor in Economics. His interests are with developmental economics (agriculture, mineral, and energy economics) in developing nations, specifically the DRC and Angola. Stephane has interned with a variety of organizations including the US State Department. He is also a Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Fellow. As a PPIA Fellow, Stephane worked on the US-EU Transatlantic Relationship. He was responsible for European Union reliance on Russian natural gas. Stephane will continue his summer work this fall as an intern for Marathon Oil at their Office of Federal Relations. Stephane plans to pursue a Masters in Public Policy (MPP) as well as Global Development.
