Taneska Lewis is a senior at the University of Texas at Dallas majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Political Science. She is a Student Ambassador and member of the School of Management Honors Program where she coordinated volunteer efforts to tutor and mentor at-risk students in the local school district. Taneska has been a Gates Millennium Scholar since 2007 and was recently awarded the Dean’s Corporate Scholarship. For two years, she worked at the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) as the Government Affairs Specialist where she monitored federal transportation legislation and assisted with outreach to elected officials. While in D.C., Taneska will serve as the Government Relations intern at the International Justice Mission.
