Daniel Vasquez is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin pursuing a degree in government with a minor in history. Daniel has volunteered for various Houston and Austin City Council Campaigns. He interned at MacIntyre and McCulloch, a probate law firm in Houston, and clerked for Rudy G. Vasquez, Attorney at Law. During the 82nd Legislative Session, Daniel was selected as a 2011 Senator Gregory Luna Legislative Scholar, where he interned for State Senator Leticia Van de Putte. Through this position, he had the unique opportunity to learn the legislative process and earn full responsibilities as a legislative staffer. During his time in D.C., Daniel hopes to cultivate this interest in Education Policy, and upon graduation, he plans on pursuing a law degree.
