Hannah Rose Bainter is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin, where she double majors in Government and Sociology. With a great focus on academics she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Society as a junior and she is currently obtaining Sociology Departmental Honors. She is involved in over a dozen organizations, both on and off campus, including serving as Budget officer for the Student Events Center’s Distinguished Speakers Committee, Event Coordinator for the International Speakers Association, and Internal Communications officer for the Tournaments and Games Committee. With a passion for International Studies and Government relations she studied abroad in Beijing, China studying U.S./China relations where she also began learning Mandarin. She is eager to expand her education in government and her interest in languages in D.C. where Hannah Rose will intern at the U.S. Department of State.
